Social Package Tutorial Series – Contact Importer, an effective Friend Inviter

The series will include but not limited to:

       1. Increase your site members

Site membership is one of the most important factors to any social network, let see how Contact Importer helps to increase the number. Currently, in our demo page, when logging you could see the widget as following picture.

Imaging your member’s Facebook account has about 500 friends, he sends out 100 invitations to those who have the same interest with him, assuming that 50% of friends join your site. The number of your members will be increased very much.

      2. Encourage your members to open their connections

Contact Importer is a tool that helps your site members extends their connection. Most people especially first time users, don’t feel very comfortable to surf and participate in such those online activities without having friends. Contact Importer can make the differences.

Back to the previous example, 50% of 100 Facebook invitees who join the site will most likely be friends of the inviter. Does it sound good for new members?

      3. Users can manage their invitations easily

With statistics tool, members know how many invitations they have sent. They can also resend or delete them from the list. Friends are listed by page and by alphabetical order. See below picture, you will see the reason:

Members will be notified of their friends who have already joined the network so they can add friend quickly. Thus, the members can easily connect to those they already know through a friendly user interface.

Last but not least, Contact Importer is integrated as a step in signing up process. New member will be directed to Contact Importer/Friend Inviter page to invite their Friends after they successfully registered.
