Social Stream Tutorial – How to get Control on Feeds Display

Most of us have Facebook, Twitter or Linkedin accounts, and update them very often, don’t we? Getting these activities to your SocialEngine site and let your site become a central place for every member to know what the others are doing even following the activities on Facebook | Twitter | Linkedin and it should be a great idea. And it’s a reason for Social Stream, one of the best ways to centralize all your members external activities (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and shared content in an organized manner. For all members
Configure Social Stream easily.
Get friends’ feeds from Facebook | Twitter | Linkedin
Comment to Feeds on SocialEngine and the comments will be published to others.
For admin
Allow admin to configure default setting for each provider.
Allow setting privacy on each provider for each member level.

Configure Social Stream easily.
To use Social Stream, it needs to connect to Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin account first. From Member Home Page or Profile Page, click on Facebook | Twitter | Linkedin shortcut and then signin with providers that want to get feed

Here is the result of above settings (Not necessarily to set up for all providers, members can connect to only one provider that they want to get feeds)

Get feeds from Facebook / Twitter.
After configuration, feeds could be get via Facebook | Twitter | Linkedin icon on Home page or Profile page.

Most the owners of website concern that there is any way to automatically get feeds? If you are also asking like this, please follow the instructions written in the installation guide (named InstallationGuide.pdf) inside the package to setup Cronjob on your server.
Comment to Feeds on SocialEngine and the comments will be published to others.
When members give a comment on their Facebook’s feed or Twitter’s feed or Linkedin’s feed, this comment will be shown on relevant providers.
