According to Scribd, “Scribd is no longer offering new API accounts. Members who already have an API key may continue to use the Scribd API, but signups for new API keys are now closed.” Basing on that new API rule, Scribd doesn’t allow to create new accounts anymore. Therefore, for those who already had Scribd accounts, you will be still working fine with our File Sharing module. Otherwise, it will affect File Sharing’s document preview function and the way Scribd document is embeded. Thus, unfortunately, for those who hasn’t had Scribd accounts, you will cannot fully operate with our File Sharing module.
In the meantime, we are still waiting for the next updates from Scribd to provide our best support to our clients. We are also trying our best to minimize the current impact and will have further updates with you as soon as possible.
We are really sorry for any inconvenience that it might cause you, and we really appreciate your understanding.
